Fillmore Avenue closed next week for Lafayette Bridge demolition

Removal of old southbound Hwy 52 Lafayette Bridge continues in St. Paul

ROSEVILLE, Minn.— Fillmore Avenue in St. Paul, will be closed next week as construction crews continue demolition of the existing southbound Hwy 52 Lafayette Bridge over the roadway.

The road will close at 7 a.m. Monday, March 24 between the East Lafayette Frontage Road and the West Lafayette Frontage Road south of the Mississippi River. Weather permitting, the road will reopen by 7 p.m. Friday, March 28. Motorists should use alternate routes to bypass the closure.
