MnDOT to construct two roundabouts near Forest Lake High School in 2016

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The public is invited to learn about the Hwy 61 and Hwy 97 roundabout construction project at an open house on Tuesday, March 18, at Forest Lake High School.

The open house is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m., in the Forest High School Media Center at 6101 Scandia Trail N.

Open house attendees will have an opportunity to view and discuss preliminary design alternatives with project staff. Roundabout education and safety information also will be on display. There will be no formal presentation.

Studies show roundabouts are a proven safety improvement and contribute to better fuel efficiency.  In addition, roundabouts facilitate smoother traffic flow and fewer traffic delays.
