MnDOT commissioner to host town hall meeting in Coon Rapids Dec. 4
Discussion at Anoka-Ramsey Community College includes improv
Roseville, Minn. - Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle invites the public to attend a town hall meeting in Coon Rapids from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Coon Rapids Campus, Legacy Conference Room, 11200 Mississippi Blvd. NW.
Zelle will lead a discussion about transportation, how it affects quality of life, its link to Minnesota’s economy and the importance of investing in this state asset. He will be assisted by The Theater of Public Policy improvisation group, which uses improv comedy to explore public policy issues. The group uses an interview based show that will explore transportation issues and bring them to life with theater.
Zelle and Metropolitan Council Chair Sue Haigh are hosting a series of town hall meetings in the Twin Cities. Future dates and venues include:
- Tuesday, Dec. 10 at St. Paul Union Depot, Veterans Gallery, 214 E. 4th Street., St. Paul, MN
- Thursday, Dec. 12 at Century College, 3300 Century Ave. N., Room #2315, White Bear Lake, MN
- Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Burnsville High School Theatre, Mraz Center for the Performing Arts, 600 East Highway 13, Burnsville, MN
