Traffic changes ahead this weekend on I-694 Corridor

Weekend traffic changes planned along I-694 between Arden Hills, Brooklyn Center

ROSEVILLE, Minn.— If the weekend weather cooperates, Monday morning commuters should find an easier trip with several ramps reopening along Interstate 694 between Arden Hills and Brooklyn Center.
The following ramps and loops are expected to be open by 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11:

  • The ramp from eastbound I-694 to southbound Snelling/Hamline Avenue.
  • The ramp from northbound Central Avenue (Highway 65) to westbound I-694 and
  • The ramp from westbound I-694 to University Avenue (Highway 47).

In addition, all westbound I-694 lanes are expected to open by Monday morning, Nov. 11, from Silver Lake Road to East River Road.

Single lane overnight closures are planned in both directions of the interstate this weekend as crews finish installing guardrail and removing the temporary traffic control barriers along the interstate.

As the project nears completion, motorists should travel with caution throughout the entire work zone as crews continue to complete final grading, signing and traffic control.
