Hastings Bridge Dedication scheduled for Nov. 22


Roseville, Minn. – Area residents and business owners are invited to attend a bridge dedication celebration for the new Hastings Bridge, on Friday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. at the Hastings City Hall,  101 4th St. E.

The dedication marks the opening of the new four lane bridge spanning the Mississippi River.

The new Hastings Bridge features a 100-year lifespan and is the longest, free-standing tied arch bridge on the continent. It is a critical connector within the state’s transportation infrastructure, with more than 30,000 vehicles using this Mississippi River crossing each day.

The event will include a short program with remarks from Hastings community members and leaders, Project leaders and elected officials.  

The public and members of the media are encouraged to attend.
