Hwy 212 Corridor Study open house Nov. 14

Open house following Southwest Corridor Transportation Town Hall meeting

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Area residents and business owners are invited to attend an open house Wednesday, Nov. 14, to discuss an access management, safety and phasing plan currently underway for Hwy 212 between the cities of Carver and Norwood Young America.

The open house will follow the Southwest Corridor Transportation Coalition’s Town Hall meeting. Both meetings will be held at the Chaska Community Center, 1661 Park Ridge Drive. The Town Hall meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Hwy 212 open house at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

This open house is the first public meeting regarding the study. The meeting is an opportunity for the public to review and provide input on various strategies for making improvements along the corridor between the cities of Carver and Norwood Young America. Project representatives from Carver County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to respond to comments and questions.
