Orange barrels on a highway

Reopening of Old Hwy 10 (County Road 76) at County Road 96 in Arden Hills delayed

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Although most roadways, ramps and loops will reopen tonight on I-694, Hwy 10 and Ramsey County Road 96 in Arden Hills, access to Old Hwy 10 south of Ramsey County Road 96 will remain closed. Additional construction is needed on the roadway and will delay the opening until the middle of next week.

While Old Hwy 10 remains closed at County Road 96, motorists will have to reach Old Hwy 10 from the south. Residents of Lakeshore Place can still access their homes from County Road 96.

Major reconstruction of the Hwy 10 and Ramsey County Road 96 interchange began in April 2013. The two roadways have been closed since late April.

When it opens tonight, the new interchange will carry Hwy 10 above County Road 96. The new partial interchange will improve traffic flow and safety for motorists and the new Hwy 10 pavement will provide a smooth, long-lasting surface.
