Closure rescheduled—Ramp on Hwy 62 to Penn Avenue in Minneapolis scheduled to close Oct. 9

The ramp will close for seven days 
ROSEVILLE, Minn – Motorists will encounter a delay in Minneapolis as crews close the ramp on eastbound Hwy 62 to Penn Avenue.  

At 7 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, the exit ramp on eastbound Hwy 62 to Penn Avenue will close. Weather permitting the ramp will re-open on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Motorists should exit on Xerxes Avenue to access Penn Avenue.

The ramp closure is part of a $1.6 million bridge project that includes removing and replacing the bridge deck, panels and approaches, replacing the bridge rails and upgrading pedestrian crossings at ramp intersections to meet modern accessibility standards.
