Orange barrels on a highway

I-694 lane closure, Snelling/Hamline Avenue closure planned this weekend in Arden Hills

ROSEVILLE, Minn. –  Westbound Interstate 694 traffic will be restricted to a single lane of traffic from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, to 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, between Lexington Avenue and I-35W in Arden Hills. During the same time, the loop from northbound Snelling/Hamline Avenue to westbound I-694 will close. The lane closure will allow construction crews to safely remove concrete barrier from along the new lanes of the westbound interstate.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, northbound Snelling/Hamline Avenue will be closed between County Road E and County Road F for final striping of the roadway.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route to avoid congestion or follow the signed detour to reach westbound I-694 from Snelling/Hamline Avenue.

Weather permitting, all closures will be lifted by 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
