I-35E in St. Paul now open to traffic
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Crews have completed pipe work beneath Interstate 35E in St. Paul ahead of schedule and have re-opened the roadway at 12:40 p.m. between I-94 and Highway 36.
One lane in each direction will remain closed near Arlington Avenue for area shoulder work. The lanes are anticipated to re-open by late Sunday, Oct. 20.
The work is part of the I-35E Cayuga improvement project, which includes reconstructing I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacing the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
