Open house for Hwy 100 Reconstruction Project in St. Louis Park scheduled for Sept. 10
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists, the business community and area residents are invited to an open house to learn about the Highway 100 Reconstruction project between 36th Street W and 25 ½ Street in St. Louis Park.
The open house will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the large gym at Groves Academy, 3200 Highway 100, St. Louis Park.
The project, scheduled to begin in 2014 and end in 2016, includes reconstructing the Highway 7 and Hennepin County Road 5/Minnetonka Boulevard interchanges and three through lanes and auxiliary lanes between interchanges. The project will improve interchange safety at Highway 7 and County Road 5, improve traffic operations of Highway 100 and support regional and local economic development through maintaining current access.
Open house attendees will have an opportunity to view a layout of the entire project and to learn about the various stages of construction. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions.
