Orange barrels on a highway

Single-lane traffic on I-35 continues to County Road 50 beginning Sept. 24

Roseville, Minn. – Motorists will continue to encounter delays in both directions of Interstate 35 between Elko/New Market and Burnsville as crews repair concrete pavement to provide a smoother and safer ride for motorists.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, crews will extend the single lane for both directions of I-35 to County Road 50. Both northbound and southbound traffic will be moved to the same side of the road between County Road 2 and County Road 50.

In addition, the northbound I-35 ramps from County Road 60/185th Street and northbound I-35 to County Road 50 will close.

Motorists will use County Road 50 to access northbound I-35.

Traffic will remain a single lane in each direction until early-November.  All work is weather permitting and could change for inclement weather.
