Orange barrels on a highway

Access to westbound Hwy 36 from Hilton Trail closing Sept. 20

Pine Springs entrance ramp to reopen Tuesday, Sept. 24

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a delay on southbound Hilton Trail in Pine Springs as access to the westbound Highway 36 ramp closes at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour of 60th Street North/Frontage Road, Demontreville Trail, back to westbound Highway 36.

The ramp is expected to re-open by Tuesday, Sept. 24, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to finish work on the new interchange.

When completed in late fall 2013, the $13.8 million Highway 36/Hilton Trail interchange project will improve safety and traffic flow on Highway 36, Hilton Trail, Highlands Trail and Demontreville Trail.
