Eastbound I-94 ramp and auxiliary lane from White Bear Avenue will close for 29 days

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter an off-peak ramp closure on White Bear Avenue to eastbound I-94 in Maplewood as crews begin a drainage improvement project.

At 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, two days later than originally scheduled, the eastbound I-94 ramp from White Bear Avenue will close. The auxiliary lane between White Bear Avenue and Ruth Street also will close.

The ramp and auxiliary lane are expected to re-open on Saturday, Sept. 9.

In addition, motorists may experience intermittent lane and shoulder closures throughout the project.

Motorists should slow down and prepare to stop as they approach and navigate the work zone.

The project will improve drainage and extend the pavement life of I-94.
