Gateway State Trail closure to be rescheduled

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Gateway State Trail between L’Orient Street and Cayuga Street East just west of
Interstate 35E will remain open tomorrow, Aug. 8.

The section of trail was previously scheduled to close early Aug. 8 and remain closed for several weeks for crews to complete area tree and brush removal. The closure will be rescheduled for a later date and updates will be made when the closure start date has been scheduled.

The work is part of the I-35E Cayuga improvement project, which aims to reconstruct I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
