Orange barrels on a highway

Access to Hwy 10 businesses in Arden Hills changes Thursday, Aug. 29

ROSEVILLE, Minn.—  Business access will change tomorrow afternoon for customers of Welsch’s Big Ten Tavern and Scherer Brother’s Lumber Company located along Hwy 10 in Arden Hills. Beginning tomorrow, traffic will be a single lane in each direction on eastbound Hwy 10 between The Big Ten Tavern and the intersection of Ramsey County Road 10 and Ramsey County Road H.

At the same time, the westbound lanes of Hwy 10 and access to northbound Interstate 35W from the two businesses will close. The traffic switch is needed as construction crews begin paving the new westbound lanes of Hwy 10.

The ramp from northbound I-35W to westbound County Road 10 also will be restricted to a single lane of traffic. Traffic will still be able to reach southbound I-35W from westbound County Road 10 near the Mermaid Supper Club.

Motorists should watch for detour signs along the new route.
