Single-lane for I-35 scheduled to begin Sept. 3
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists will encounter delays as both directions of I-35 between Elko/New Market and Burnsville will be reduced to a single lane as crews repair concrete pavement to provide a smoother and safer ride for motorists.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 both directions of I-35 between County Road 2 and County Road 50 will be reduced to a single lane.
Both northbound and southbound traffic will be moved to the same side of the road and remain a single lane in each direction through early November.
The northbound I-35 ramps from County Road 60/185th Street and to County Road 50 will close at the same day and time.
Motorists are advised to follow the signed detour for ramp closures or to find alternative routes to help minimize delays.
All work is weather permitting and could change for inclement weather.
