Orange barrels on a highway

Overnight I-35E lane closure occurs Aug. 19

Cayuga project continues

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – On Monday, Aug. 19. Motorists in St. Paul may experience delays as an overnight lane closure occurs on northbound I-35E between Interstate 94 and Wheelock Parkway.

The left lane will close at 7 p.m. The lane will re-open by 5 a.m. Aug. 20.

The lane closure is needed to allow crews to set barriers in preparation for northbound I-35E reconstruction.

The work is part of the I-35E Cayuga improvement project, which aims to reconstruct I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
