Traffic switch on I-35E begins July 7

I-35E improvement project continues from Burnsville to Eagan

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter delays in both directions of Interstate 35E between Burnsville and Eagan as crews repair the roadway.

On July 7, crews will shift north and southbound traffic on I-35E between Cedar Avenue and the I-35/35W/35E Split.  Single lane, head to head traffic will remain on the northbound side of the roadway through July 22.

At the same day and time the southbound I-35E ramps at County Road 11 will close.  The ramps are expected to re-open on July 22.

Beginning Wednesday, July 10, both directions of the McAndrews Road Bridge spanning I-35E will close for 14 days as make repairs and add a railing to the bridge.

Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to follow the signed detour.

All work is weather permitting and could change for inclement weather.
