Short-term closure on Hwy 36 in Maplewood scheduled July 21
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter delays as both directions of Highway 36 between Highway 61 and Edgerton Street in Maplewood close at 6 a.m. Sunday, July 21.
The closure is necessary as crews work to lower the water level at Keller Lake.
The section of road is expected to re-open by 9 a.m. that same day.
When the bridge is complete, motorists will experience a smoother, safer ride with updated features and better access for the traveling public. More information about the project is available at www.mndot.gov/metro/projects/hwy36maplewood/.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slowdown in workzones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
