Lane closures on the bridges at West 82nd, 86th, and 90th Street in Bloomington begin July 22


Bridges span I-35W

ROSEVILLE, Minn – Motorists traveling on West 82nd, West 86th  and west 90th Streets in Bloomington will encounter delays and detours as crews close the lanes to chip seal the surface of the three bridges.


On Monday, July 22 the eastbound lanes on the West 82nd Street and the West 86th Street Bridges will close. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours. The eastbound lanes on both bridges will re-open on Tuesday, July 23.

Once work is complete, crews will re-open the eastbound lanes and close the westbound lanes.

On Wednesday, July 24, the westbound lanes on the West 82nd Street and the West 86th Street Bridges will close. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours. The westbound lanes on both bridges will re-open on Thursday, July 25.

In addition, on Friday, July 26 the westbound lanes on the West 90th Street Bridge will close. Motorists should follow the posted detours. The lanes will re-open on Saturday July 27. 

Once the work is complete, crews will re-open the westbound lanes and close the eastbound lanes.

On Monday, July 29 the eastbound lanes on the West 90th Street Bridge will close. The lanes will re-open by Tuesday, July 30.
