Short-term lane and ramp closures on I-35W start July 1
Central Corridor Light Rail Project work continues in Minneapolis
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may experience delays on Monday, July 1 as the 4th Street ramp to southbound Interstate 35W/westbound Interstate 94/eastbound Highway 55 closes at 9 a.m.
Motorists will be detoured to eastbound 4th St. Drivers can do a U-turn at the Cedar Avenue ramp, continue westbound on 3rd Street to the freeway on-ramp and then exit at 3rd Street.
The ramp will re-open by 3 p.m. Monday, July 1.
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, the ramp between 3rd/4th S and I-94 will be reduced to a single lane.
At the same day and time, motorists should expect lane closures on northbound and southbound I- 35W between Washington Ave and I-94.
All lanes and ramps will re-open by 3 p.m.
The ramp closure and lane closures are needed to hang freeway signage and conduct pier work on the CCLRT flyover bridge.
