Open house for the Hwy 7/Louisiana Avenue project scheduled for June 27


The interchange project began June 17

Roseville, Minn. - Area residents and the business community are invited to attend an open house to learn about the Hwy 7/Louisiana Avenue Interchange Project in St. Louis Park.

The open house will be held Thursday, June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the City of St. Louis Park Municipal Service Center, 7305 Oxford Street. 

The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the project plans, traffic impacts and construction schedule. Displays illustrating the construction and future road ramps will be available.

Representatives from the City of St. Louis Park, MnDOT, C.S. McCrossan and the project manager from Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. will be in available to answer questions.

The project is to convert the existing intersection into an interchange, construct a diamond interchange with a Hwy 7 bridge spanning Louisiana Avenue, add roundabouts on Louisiana Avenue at the Lake Street and Walker Street intersections, reconfigure West Lake Street and Walker Street and add pedestrian and bicycle upgrades.
