Orange barrels on a highway

DeMontreville Trail in Lake Elmo scheduled to close June 24

The roadway will close for seven days

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may experience delays on DeMontreville Trail N in Lake Elmo as crews complete reduced conflict intersection (J-turn) construction at Demontreville Trail.

At 6 a.m. Monday, June 24, Demontreville Trail at Hwy 36 will close.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour of Highland Trail.

All roadway work is scheduled to be complete by 6 a.m. Monday, July 1, weather permitting.

When completed in fall 2013, the $13.8 million reconstruction project will improve safety and traffic flow on Hwy 36, Hilton Trail, Highlands Trail and Demontreville Trail while reducing the amount of through traffic cutting through residential areas.
