Cayuga project continues
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – St. Paul area motorists may experience delays as lane closures on southbound I-35E between Maryland Avenue and Cayuga Street E. occur overnight Tuesday, June 18.
Two lanes of southbound I-35E will close at 10 p.m. At 11 p.m., the Minnesota State Patrol will stop southbound I-35E traffic for approximately 15 minutes as crews remove a sign spanning the freeway. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 19.
The work is part of the I-35E Cayuga improvement project, which aims to reconstruct I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
