Orange barrels on a highway

Overnight southbound I-35E lane closures scheduled for June 11 and 12

Lane shifts to occur for Cayuga project

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – St. Paul area motorists may experience delays as lane closures on southbound I-35E between Larpenteur Avenue and I-94 occur overnight June 11 and 12.

A single lane will close at 7 p.m. each night, and an additional lane will close at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the next day.

The lane closures are necessary for lane shifts as part of the I-35E Cayuga improvement project, which aims to reconstruct I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad bridges along I-35E. Read more about the Cayuga project by visiting http://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/projects/35estpaul/cayuga.html.
