Overnight closure scheduled at Gateway State Trail in East Metro May 28
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Gateway State Trail users will experience delays as both directions of the Gateway State Trail tunnel beneath Highway 36 in Pine springs will close intermittingly at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28.
Trail-users can expect to encounter flagging operators and up to a 30-minute delay in the workzone.
The trail closure is necessary as crews continue the Highway 36/Hilton Trail reconstruction project.
The work is scheduled to be complete by 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 29
Gateway State Trail is an 18-mile multi-use trail located between St. Paul and Washington County. The western portion of the trail runs through St. Paul, Maplewood and North St Paul, passing through Phalen-Keller Regional Park.
