Hwy 95 resurfacing project rescheduled for April 29
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Highway 95 resurfacing project between Highway 8 and the Sunrise River in Chisago County has been rescheduled to begin Monday, April 29.
The project was originally scheduled to begin Monday, April 15 but was postponed due to inclement weather.
In addition to resurfacing the roadway the project will include culvert replacement, guardrail and curb and gutter. Rumble strips will also be installed.
Hwy 95 will be closed and detoured to thorough traffic. Downtown Taylors Falls will remain open to two lanes of traffic, but parking will not be available on Hwy 95. Area residences and businesses will remain accessible throughout the project. Crews expect to complete downtown portion of work by Thursday, May 23.
The Hwy 95 resurfacing project will improve drainage and provide a smoother and safer road.
The entire project is scheduled for completion early in August.
