Hwy 95 resurfacing project scheduled to begin April 26
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — The Hwy 95 resurfacing project between Hwy 8 and the Sunrise River in Chisago County will begin Friday, April 26.
The project was originally scheduled to begin Monday, April 15 but was postponed due to the weather.
In addition to resurfacing the roadway the project will include culvert replacement, guardrail and curb and gutter. Rumble strips will also be installed.
Hwy 95 will be closed and detoured to thorough traffic. Downtown Taylors Falls will remain open to two lanes of traffic, but parking will not be available on Hwy 95. Area residences and businesses will remain accessible throughout the project.
The Hwy 95 resurfacing project will improve drainage and provide a smoother and safer road.
The project is scheduled for completion early in August.
