L'Orient Street closing April 23-26
Cayuga improvement project continues near I-35E Corridor

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists may experience delays when L’Orient Street closes between Genesee Street and Granite Street at 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 23.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour route around the block to avoid the work zone.

The roadway will re-open by 8 p.m. April 26.

The closure is necessary as crews conduct utility work beneath L’Orient Street.

This work is part of the larger I-35 Cayuga improvement project, which aims to reconstruct I-35E between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue, including replacement of the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and the railroad and the railroad bridges along I-35E.
