Weather AGAIN delays long-term closure at Hwy 10/Ramsey County Road 96 in Arden Hills
Closures rescheduled overnight Sunday, April 21

ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Since winter weather refuses to relinquish its hold on Minnesota, the closure of Hwy 10 and Ramsey County Road 96 in Arden Hills has again been delayed. Weather permitting, the closure will begin overnight Sunday, April 21 and commuters will find these roadways closed Monday, April 22 for the start of major reconstruction at Highway 10 and Ramsey County Road 96. The closures are also needed for resurfacing of the Hwy 10 Diagonal between I-694 and I-35W.

During the construction season, traffic will detour on I-35W and I-694 to avoid the closures.

The eastbound Hwy 10 bridge over I-35W will remain open for local access from County Road H during the first part of the construction. However the ramp from southbound I-35W to Hwy 10 will close.

The westbound County Road 10 bridge will be open from northbound I-35W only during the 2013 construction season. Old Hwy 10 (County Road 76) will close at the south junction with Lakeshore Place but local access will be maintained.

When completed this fall, the new interchange will carry Hwy 10 above County Road 96. The new partial interchange will improve traffic flow and safety for motorists and the new Hwy 10 pavement will provide a smooth, long-lasting surface.
