Hwy 169/County Road 30 interchange construction begins April 1
Hwy 169 will remain open throughout construction
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Construction on the new interchange at the Hwy 169/County Road 30 intersection is scheduled to begin Monday, April 1.
Work will include reconstructing County Road 30 (93rd Ave N) to pass over Hwy 169, eliminating the existing traffic signal there, constructing loop ramps in the northeast and northwest quadrants for access to and from Hwy 169 to the south and providing bicycle and pedestrian trails along both sides of County Road 30.
This project will improve safety and will help alleviate congestion on Hwy 169 while making Hwy 169 a freeway between Shakopee and Champlin.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
