Hamline Avenue, County Road F intersection closes October 1
Month-long closure needed to rebuild intersection

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – As reconstruction continues on the I-694 North Central Projects in Arden Hills, the intersection of Hamline Avenue and Ramsey County Road F will close at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 1.  During the month-long closure, construction crews will rebuild the intersection located just north of Interstate 694 and install the necessary underground utilities for the future signal system.

When completed by early November, the intersection will operate as a four-way stop until the new signal system is installed in April 2013.

During the work, motorists should follow the posted detour on Ramsey County 96 and Lexington Avenue to reach County Road F.

Major reconstruction at the interchange of Interstate 694 and Highway 10 at Snelling Avenue and Hamline Avenue in Arden Hills began last fall. The two-year project includes reconstruction of the surrounding roadways between I-35W and Victoria Street along with the Island Lake bridges east of the interchange between Lexington Avenue and Victoria Street.

In addition to rebuilding the surrounding highways, the project will rebuild bridges in the corridor and will improve safety and mobility
