Overnight lane closures scheduled for I-35W
Crews will continue repairing the roadway’s expansion joints
(ROSEVILLE, Minn.) - Motorists may encounter delays on both directions of I-35W as the roadway is reduced to a single lane between County Road C and I-694 Wednesday, Aug. 8.
Northbound I-35W will be reduced to a single lane with intermittent ramp closures beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8. In addition southbound 35W will be single lane with possible ramp closures overnight beginning at 10 p.m. Aug. 9.
The lane closures are necessary as crews repair expansion joints on this segment of the freeway. The lanes will reopen each day by 5 a.m. through Aug. 10.
The work is part of a larger project to repair joints at several locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area.
