I-35W ramp restrictions in Minneapolis occur Aug. 27-30
ROSEVILLE, Minn.–Minneapolis motorists will encounter delays and detours as overnight ramp closures and lane restrictions occur Aug. 27-30.
The following restrictions will occur each night:
- Aug. 27: The ramp from S. 4th Street to southbound I-35W will be closed from 9 p.m. to
6 a.m.
- Aug. 28: Lane closures will occur overnight on the ramp from S. 4th Street to southbound
I-35W
- Aug. 29: Lane closures will occur overnight on the ramp from northbound I-35W to
S. 3rd Street
- Aug. 30: The ramp from northbound I-35W to S. 3rd Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to
6 a.m.
Motorists are advised to follow posted detours during the ramp closures The restrictions are needed for electrical work on a new bridge for the Central Corridor Light Rail.
