Overnight ramp closure at I-494/Hwy 169 occurs July 10
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter delays and a detour on northbound Hwy 169 when the loop ramp to westbound I-494 closes at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 10.
During the ramp closure, access from northbound Hwy 169 to westbound I-494 will be available via westbound Hwy 62 or Hwy 212. The ramp will reopen by 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 11.
Part of the Hwy 169/I-494 Interchange Reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews perform bridge work above the roadway.
The Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project includes turning the current expressway into a freeway by rebuilding the interchange with six ramps instead of eight. The performance-based design removes traffic signals, reduces congestion and improves safety.
