Daytime Highway 13 lane closure to start July 31
Resurfacing project continues

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may encounter delays on both directions of Highway 13 between Old Sibley Memorial Highway and 2nd Street in Mendota as the Hwy 13 resurfacing project continues July 31.

Daytime lane closures controlled by a flagging operation will occur in both directions between July 31 to Aug. 2 between 7a.m. and 7p.m.

In addition the northbound Highway 13 ramp to northbound I-35E and the ramp from northbound I-35E to Hwy 13 will temporarily close beginning at 7 a.m.  Aug. 2-3.  The ramps will reopen each day by 7 p.m.

Access to area businesses will be maintained for the duration of the project.

The work is part of the 12-mile long Highway 13 Better Roads project. When complete by Aug 10, the project will result in a smoother ride, improved drainage and upgraded pedestrian crossings and signals that meet modern accessibility standards.
