Southbound Hwy 13 closing July 6-9
Resurfacing work continues

ROSEVILLE, Minn. –  Motorists will encounter delays and a detour when southbound Hwy 13 closes between Cliff Road and I-35W in Burnsville at 8 p.m. Friday, July 6.

A signed detour will direct motorists to Cliff Road and I-35W in order to bypass the closure.  Access to local business will be maintained for the duration of the closure.

In addition, the intersection to southbound Hwy 13 from Nicollet Avenue, Portland Avenue and County Road 11 will be closed.
The road is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 9.

The work is part of the 12-mile-long Hwy 13 Better Roads project. When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride, improved drainage and upgraded pedestrian crossings and signals that meet modern accessibility standards.
