Westbound I-494 daytime lane closure occurs July 26
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists in Edina and Bloomington will encounter a lane closure on westbound I-494 between East Bush Lake Road and West Bush Lake Road beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 26.
The lane will reopen by 5 p.m. the same day.
Part of the Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews work in the median area.
The Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project includes turning the current expressway into a freeway by rebuilding the interchange with six ramps instead of eight. The performance-based design removes traffic signals, reduces congestion and improves safety.
