Ramp closures at Hwy 62/100 interchange to occur July 27-29
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays and detours at the Hwy 62/100 interchange in Edina as various ramps close this weekend.
The following ramps will close at 8 p.m. Friday, July 27:
- Southbound Hwy 100 to westbound Hwy 62
- Eastbound Hwy 62 to southbound Hwy 100
- Westbound Hwy 62 to northbound Hwy 100
During the ramp closures, motorists will be directed to use the loop ramps at the interchange to access the respective movements.
In addition, the ramp from Penn Avenue to westbound Hwy 62 will be closed during the same timeframe. Motorists are advised to follow posted detours to alternate entrances.
The closures are needed for concrete work as part of the Hwy 62 resurfacing project. All ramps will reopen by late Sunday, July 29, weather permitting.
The Hwy 62 Better Roads project will resurface the roadway and ramps to create a smoother roadway and extend the lifespan of the pavement. The project will also upgrade accessibility for pedestrians and revise traffic signals at four interchanges. The entire project is expected to be completed by early August.
