I-94 construction will affect travel to Rondo Days celebration in St. Paul
Motorists advised to use alternate routes
Motorists traveling to St. Paul’s Rondo Days celebration will encounter major road construction on Interstate 94 and adjacent roads Saturday, July 21, and are advised to use alternative routes.
People traveling on foot or by bike also will find the pedestrian bridge at Chatsworth Avenue that spans I-94 closed. The aging bridge will be replaced this fall.
Portable changeable message signs will be in place to direct traffic to Rondo Days. Special event police also will be in place to assist with traffic.
Motorists traveling:
- East on I-94 should exit at Snelling Avenue and travel east on Concordia Avenue.
- West on I-94 west should exit at 12th Street, turn onto St. Anthony Avenue to head west.
- South on I-35E should exit at University Avenue, take 12th Street to St. Anthony Avenue and head west.
- North on I-35E should exit at Kellogg Boulevard, turn left and take Kellogg Boulevard until it turns into Marion Street, turn left on St. Anthony Avenue and head west.
