Northbound Hwy 52 Lafayette Freeway closing overnight Friday, July 20
Final closure scheduled as crews restripe new pavement
(Roseville, Minn.) –Northbound Hwy 52 Lafayette Freeway will close overnight at 8 p.m. Friday, July 20, between Concord Boulevard and Interstate 94 in St. Paul.
In addition, the ramp from northbound Hwy 52 to eastbound I-94 will close.
The northbound lanes must close as crews apply permanent pavement markings to the roadway’s new surface.
During the closure, motorists will detour west on Concord Boulevard and north on Robert Street to reach I-94.
Northbound Hwy 52, and all ramps leading to it, will reopen by 5 a.m. Saturday, July 21. The ramp from northbound Hwy 52 to westbound I-94 will close at 8 p.m. Friday, July 20 and will remain closed through 5 a.m. Monday, July 23 for Central Corridor Light Rail Construction.
