Traffic delays expected at Highway 55, Hennepin County Road 19 in Medina due to signal system damage
Four-way stop to control traffic through intersection
ROSEVILLE, Minn. —Motorists should use alternate routes to avoid congestion and delays this afternoon and tomorrow morning due to signal system damage at the intersection of Highway 55 and Hennepin County Road 19 in Medina. A signal mast arm that supports traffic signals above the roadway, was damaged before 3 p.m. this afternoon. MnDOT crews are currently enroute to the scene to install a four-way stop at the intersection.
The four-way stop will remain in place until the damage is assessed and a replacement mast arm can be installed. The work is not expected to begin until mid-day tomorrow at the soonest.
