Hwy 52 project in Inver Grove Heights to begin July 18
New frontage road begins construction
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists traveling southbound on Highway 52 may experience delays for nighttime lane closures as crews begin work on the new frontage road Wednesday, July 18.
The right lane will close overnight on Highway 52 as crews place temporary barriers. The lane restriction is needed for a new frontage road that will be constructed parallel to the west side of Highway 52 south of Concord Boulevard/County Highway 56. The right lane will reopen by 5 a.m. the following day.
In addition 96th Street will close at Courthouse Boulevard the week ending July 22. Motorists are advised to use Barnes Avenue and Courthouse Boulevard to bypass the closure. Access to all area residents and businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. 96th Street is scheduled to reopen November 1, 2012.
When complete the project will create safer and more convenient frontage road access to local residential and commercial properties.
