Mounds Boulevard ramp, westbound I-94, reopening to all lanes July 17
All northbound Hwy 52 lanes, Concord Boulevard ramp reopening by July 20

(Roseville, Minn.) – The left lane of westbound I-94 between Mounds Boulevard and Hwy 52, as well as the ramp from Mounds Boulevard to westbound I-94 will reopen to traffic by noon Tuesday, July 17.

In addition, all lanes of northbound Hwy 52 between Butler Avenue and I-94, including the ramp from Concord Boulevard to northbound Hwy 52, are scheduled to reopen by Friday, July 20, weather permitting.

The Hwy 52 lanes and ramps were closed as crews rehabilitated the concrete surface of the roadway.

The I-94 lane and ramp closures were necessary as crews modified piers for the new loop connecting Hwy 52 to westbound I-94.

All of the work is associated with the new Lafayette Bridge project.

When completed by early 2015 the new Lafayette Bridge will provide two through-lanes and an auxiliary lane in each direction for entering and exiting traffic. The project also includes the modification and realignment of the Hwy 52 Bridges spanning I-94. A pedestrian and bicycle lane on the northbound bridge is included in the plan.
