Southbound Hwy 52 to reopen to three lanes by June 30
Concrete resurfacing, bridge rehab work nears completion south of Lafayette Bridge

(Roseville, Minn.) – Southbound Hwy 52 traffic in St. Paul between I-94 and Butler Avenue will be switched to the recently resurfaced lanes by early Saturday, June 30, weather permitting.

Southbound Hwy 52 traffic will once again carry two lanes of traffic between the two points, and all access to southbound Hwy 52 between the two points will reopen.

Northbound Hwy 52 traffic will remain reduced to a single lane between Butler Avenue and I-94 through approximately July 13, weather permitting. On that date all access to northbound Hwy 52 between the two points will reopen.

When completed late in 2014 – early 2015 the new Lafayette Bridge will provide two through-lanes and an auxiliary lane in each direction for entering and exiting traffic. The project also includes the modification and realignment of the Hwy 52 Bridges spanning I-94. A pedestrian and bicycle lane on the northbound bridge is included in the plan.
