Hwy 13/Sylvandale intersection closing June 20
Drainage and resurfacing work continues
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists near Mendota Heights will encounter a closure and detour on Hwy 13 beginning Wednesday, June 20.
Both directions Hwy 13 at the Sylvandale intersection will close at 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 20. The closure is needed as crews install drainage pipe and repave the intersection. All lanes will reopen by 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 26.
A signed detour will follow Annapolis Street, Dodd Road, Wentworth Avenue and Wachtler Avenue. Local residences and businesses will remain accessible throughout the closure.
The work is part of the 12-mile-long Hwy 13 Better Roads project. When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride, improved drainage and upgraded pedestrian crossings and signals that meet modern accessibility standards.
