Eastbound Hwy 10 closed, eastbound I-694 restricted this weekend in Arden Hills
Crews need to fix ditch slope along the interstate

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may encounter congestion and delays this weekend during an unplanned closure of eastbound Hwy 10 and closure of the left lane of eastbound I-694 near Snelling Avenue in Arden Hills.

Eastbound Hwy 10 will remain closed throughout the weekend between Ramsey County Road 96 and I-694 as crews repair the ditch slope in the median of I-694 between the junction of Hwy 10 and Snelling Avenue. The slope repairs also require closing the left lane of the interstate to allow crews rooms to work and move truckloads of dirt into the area.

Weather permitting, the closures will be lifted before rush hour on Monday, May 7 or as soon as work is completed.

Long awaited, major reconstruction at the interchange of Interstate 694 and Hwy 10 at Snelling Avenue and Hamline Avenue in Arden Hills begins Monday, Sept. 19.  The two-year project includes reconstruction of the surrounding roadways between I-335W and Victoria Street along with the Island Lake bridges east of the interchange between Lexington Avenue and Victoria Street.

In addition to rebuilding the surround highways, the project will rebuild bridges in the corridor and will improve safety and mobility.
