Hwy 100 open house scheduled for May 15
Public invited to learn about proposed reconstruction in St. Louis Park


ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Anyone interested in learning about the proposed Hwy 100 reconstruction project in St. Louis Park is invited to an open house on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.


The open house will be held from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the St. Louis Park Senior High School Cafeteria, 6425 W. 33rd Street in St. Louis Park. The current design layout will be on display and staff will be on hand to answer questions and take feedback. There will be no formal presentation.


The proposed Hwy 100 reconstruction project is located St. Louis Park between north of W. 36th Street and north of W. 27th Street. Work includes reconstructing the Hwy 7 and Hennepin County Road 5/Minnetonka Boulevard interchanges for improved traffic flow and safety, and including three through lanes and auxiliary lanes on Hwy 100 between interchanges for improved capacity and efficiency. Construction is currently proposed to occur in 2015-2017.
