Overnight I-94 lane, ramp closures take place June 1
Crews to apply permanent striping to eastbound lanes
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists will encounter possible delays and short detours in the eastern metro area Friday night as lane and ramp closures take place on eastbound I-94.
At 8 p.m. the left lane of eastbound I-94 will close between Hwy 61 and White Bear Avenue.
At 10 p.m. the ramps from both directions of Hwy 61 to eastbound I-94 will close. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detours. Also at 10 p.m. the ramp from eastbound I-94 to White Bear Avenue will close. Motorists are advised to use the Ruth Street ramp as an alternate during the closure.
All lanes and ramps are expected to reopen by noon Saturday, June 2.
The lane and ramp closures are necessary as crews apply permanent lane markings to the recently completed eastbound I-94 auxiliary lane between Hwy 61 and White Bear Avenue.
